SpiritWorks of Virginia 11th Annual Women's Health Expo Quantico Marine Corps Base
|

SpiritWorks of Virginia was invited to provide a
labyrinth as part of the 11th Annual Semper Fit
Women's Health Expo at Quantico Marine Corps
Base.
Randy created a 5-circuit medieval-patterned
labyrinth from masking tape on the outdoor patio
of the Clubs at Quantico. After several days of
heavy, heavy, rains, almost half of the patio
remained under water, as workers did what they
could to provide a dry surface in which the
labyrinth could be created. The glass votive
candles were used on top of the tape so the
would remain.
Besides creating the 22' masking tape labyrinth,
SpiritWorks "Purple"; a 12- 7-circuit medieval
pattern and a 7' area rug from Ikea was placed
indoors where the Expo was going on, to
generate interest in the labyrinth.
Randy staffed the booth, answered questions,
and encouraged people to walk the labyrinth
outdoors. Visions', "Music of Hildegard von
Bingen", and Ron Kristy's, "Beyond Longing"
provided the perfect and meditative background.
Thank you to Semper Fit and Patricia Padgett for
inviting SpiritWorks to this event.

Thank you to those who
visited, asked questions,
and took the time and
opportunity to walk.
This is why I volunteer my
time and energies to
promote the labyrinth.
